Private patients will receive an estimated budget, which must be paid in full before or at the time of admission to the clinic. Taking into account that the final amount of the medical bills will only be fully known when the treatment is finalized, each time the remaining amount – initial deposit and subsequent, payments is being exhausted, you will be notified and a value to be paid will be estimated for the rest of the treatment. This procedure will take place constantly, as deemed relevant, until medical assistance is completed.

Patients with international coverage insurance policy
If you currently have an insurance policy that covers treatments outside your country of residence, please share with us the policy/coverage details so we can establish contact and define payment methods with the insurance representatives. In order to do this, we would need the following information:
- Policy name and Insurance company
- Scanned copy of document that certifies coverage (ID Card, insurance contract)
Patients from countries that have active contracts with Cardioinfantil
If your country’s health ministry or other governmental institution has an active agreement with Fundación Cardioinfantil, officials from the appropriate departments will be responsible for managing payments for your medical care in our institution.
How do I arrive to Fundación Cardioinfantil?
If you have passed through the patient onboarding process, our staff will be ready to receive you at the airport.
However, when you contact us to confirm your medical appointment, you can let us know your itinerary, so we can coordinate transport for you and your companion.
Can my companion stay in the clinic during my hospitalization?
We have spacious rooms and suites. Your companion can be with you at all times, unless some medical requirement prevents it. However, our team of nurses and the International Center’s coordinators will always be attending you and your family.
